Buy it!
But for much less, Authi’s are not exactly a rarity, merely an eventually failed British-Spanish joint-venture. Yet another variant in the original Mini family.

OG Minis are fantastic, but the overall pricing on most of them is way too far into the CP range. Almost worse than aircooled 911's and 914's.

Yeah - no kidding. For that kind of money there are a lot more sporting vintage cars available.

You could buy a really nice 924S, 944, or 944 Turbo.

Had to check through some of my old mini magazines, but an authi is the Spanish version of one of the many non-British versions of the mini. (Unfortunately, it’s also one of the least interesting). As a 1972, it won’t be a cooper, but will instead be a 1275C (A presumably Spain only ‘luxury’ model with disk brakes) or a 1275 GT (this is the same mechanically as the clubman 1275 GT, but with a standard ‘roundnose’ shell instead)

Also, forgot to say is 23,000 really what you have to pay for these in the US? I thought the prices of the ones I’ve been looking at were too high at about 20% of what this costs. Mega CP if you ask me
